Dr. Malter is a leading expert in hair tissue mineral analysis and how mineral imbalances effect stress and energy.

In 2002, he wrote The Strands of Health: A Guide to Understanding Hair Mineral Analysis. This book introduces the basic concepts related to understanding hair mineral analysis and is an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to learn more about hair analysis and the importance of mineral balancing as it relates to stress and energy management. BACKGROUND:
Naomi has been interested in health and wellness screening for over 30 years.
She has completed Dr. Rick's HTMA Training and Certification Course and also provides HTMA consultations for our clients. Over the last 10 years Naomi has also been using Thermal Imaging in addition to HTMA for safely monitoring stress and inflammaton.
Naomi has a B.A. from the University of Iowa from the School of Journalism and Communication.
Ever since Naomi was told at her very first mammography appointment that they could not read her images and they wanted her to do another mammogram she has had the desire to find a screening method that fit her lifestyle yet was effective and cost efficient. It made no sense to her as to why would they do another mammogram if they can’t read it. When asking what other options are out there, they told her ultrasound but ONLY if she did another mammogram. She then had a 6-week fight with the clinic to allow her to do an ultrasound without the additional mammogram and finally they said okay. She found out she had fibrocystic breast tissue which made reading her mammogram difficult to say the least. She decided then, there had to be a better way to screen breasts, that is when she discovered Thermal Imaging!
It’s radiation-free, no contact, safe and effective too. to map heat patterns in the body to monitor stress and inflammation. She was excited about this safe, adjunctive imaging method. As Naomi went through training and certification she learned there were even more potential uses for Thermal Imaging when approaching well being from a wholistic perspective.

35 years ago, I was showing signs of severe hypoglycemia and total exhaustion. In 1980, I was fortunate that a friend and colleague of mine, Ken Candelaria, Ph.D., was very well informed about the cardiovascular health risks associated with severe magnesium deficiency. Among the major health risks associated with magnesium deficiency are sudden massive fatal heart attacks, serious glucose regulation problems leading to diabetes, and cancer.
Dr. Candelaria strongly recommended that I get a hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) test. The results of this simple lab test clearly showed that I had a very severe magnesium deficiency that put me at an extreme high risk for a fatal heart attack. I have no doubt that detecting my severe magnesium deficiency with a hair HTMA saved my life and put me on the road back to restoring my health, energy, and vitality. This led me to study nutrition and hair tissue mineral analysis in depth which was a natural addition to my psychology and counseling practice.
